Amy Ferrara miraculously survived a house fire and backdraft in 2013 which led to PTSD and a life-altering health crisis. As Amy underwent trauma therapy to heal from the fire, a miracle happened. The trauma of the house fire led to unexpected healing from decades-long PTSD from childhood sexual abuse. Amy now calls it: "the fire that healed her." Amy has received true healing by the hands of Jesus Christ, and now she has the sacred privilege of sharing her story about the gift of pain and suffering to encourage her brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as anyone who has endured the long journey of suffering. Amy is a Texas girl who calls Washington, DC her home with husband Mark and their children, Isabella and Isaac.
